You're Invited!

You are receiving this letter since you or your spouse belongs to the prestigious “Mullappally Koyambatta Tharavadu”. Our “tharavadu” has grown and has spread its wings over to several different states or even countries. We have also seen many of our families relocating to other districts, states or even countries to meet the demands of the new economy. In this fast-paced lifestyle, we do not want our family bonds and relations to die down as have happened to many other such families in the past.

As a strong aristocratic family of Kadathanadu, we are keen to keep and sustain the existing love, affection and bonds that exist today among the members of this extended family. To do so, we need to bring together the whole extended family under a single umbrella; that we continue to carry forward our culture and tradition of love and respect to each other and pass it over to the next generation “intact”.

The concept took its current shape a couple of months ago, when our beloved mother of this tharavadu smt. Ammu Amma passed away and to mourn the incident, many of our close family members gathered at Naduputhalath. They took a brave step; to form an ad-hoc committee that will oversea this idea taking-off from its concept stage all the way to implementation. The committee has decided to convene a gathering of the full extended family. This general body meeting is planned for 28th December 2008 at our tharavadu, “Naduputhalath” house.

As a privileged member of this family, we cordially invite you and your family to be present at this occasion.

We will discuss the thoughts and ideas and come up with a plan of future action. A permanent committee will be formulated. List of ad-hoc committee members and the draft bye-law is enclosed for your kind information. We strongly value your inputs in taking this concept forward. Please feel free to send in your opinions or suggestions to Mr. Jyothisankar, “Viswarag”, Panakkalthodi, Panikkar Road, Nadakkavu, Kozhikode (Dist), Kerala (State). You may also voice your thoughts via our dedicated blog: http://kadathanadans.blogspot.com/. In order for us to process the suggestions, please make sure that they reach us on or before 30th November, 2008.

A joint account was opened in the name of Sri. Naduputhalath Balagopalan (President) and Sri. Jyothi Sankar (Treasurer). Details are enclosed with this letter. Also attached are the aims and objectives, ad-hoc committee details, financial structure and list of members of the group.

We request your whole hearted support, commitment and participation for the success of this endeavor.

Kind Regards,

Naduputhalath Balagopalan,
